Here are some phrases and exclamations for use in emergencies and other difficult situations. Hopefully you won't need to use them!
Note that in a genuine emergency, you can contact the emergency services in Spain by calling 112.

| ¡llame a una ambulancia! | call an ambulance! |
| necesito un médico | I need a doctor |
| ha habido un accidente | there's been an accident |
| ¡por favor, dénse prisa! | please hurry! |
| me he cortado | I've cut myself |
| me he quemado | I've burnt myself |
| ¿está usted bien? | are you OK? |
| ¿están todos bien? | is everyone OK? |
| ¡al ladrón! | stop, thief! |
| ¡llame a la policía! | call the police! |
| me han robado la cartera | my wallet's been stolen |
| me han robado el monedero | my purse has been stolen |
| me han robado el bolso | my handbag's been stolen |
